   Sports are likely to be one of the most effective ways to promote healthy relationships amongst all the countries in the world. By the time people stop their day-by-day activities to watch a soccer game between two different countries they are keen to be closer to each other.

   One such example is the famous football world cup, which attracts the attention of many people in the world principally the male gender that constitutes the group of players and the main spectators. Usually they become anxious before the game starts but in the real time they are only quiet and silent as their focus has moved towards the scene. There is a sense of community developed, where the differences separating people and other troubles in life may be forgotten.

   In general emotions are increased in every population and in fact they are together for one purpose. Nevertheless tension is also a factor and this can lead to exalting passionate feelings such as anger. In these moments a quarrel can suddenly occur and be cause of an awful situation. However in my opinion sports constitute the healthiest type of entertainment and enthusiasm must be part of this process given that humans are supposed to deal with conflicts once they become part of a group.    

   In conclusion sports can be a peaceful way to promote union amongst countries in the world. Although it is such a passionate moment that may lead to some bad reactions, I believe sporting events, such as the World Cup essentially do not divide countries, as they give them the opportunity to forget their differences.  These lead to the development of sentiments of greater closeness and friendliness and consequently closer ties.

ARE FAMOUS PEOPLE TREATED UNFAIRLY BY THE MEDIA? SHOULD THEY BE GIVEN MORE PRIVACY OR IS THE PRICE OF THEIR FAME AN INVASION INTO THE PRIVATE LIFE?

   In general people are curious about celebrities’ private life. Most of them, namely the female gender uses to buying weekly magazines in which the latest gossip are found to be the better ones. In fact I think that admiration is what leads people to be so  inquisitive.

   On one hand it is understood that almost every woman has dreamt of being famous at least once in their lives. To be more precise little girls have been used to listen to a plenty of stories about princess waiting for their princes since the remote ages. Consequently this fragile sex tends to project their feelings on the ones who are supposed to be winners, in other words who could reach their main ideals.

   On the other hand a great deal of magazines and journals exploit the images of famous people as a result of earnings. In fact this is cause of a terrible intrusion into their lives. Recently I read an interview in which a certain famous person was complaining about this matter. She seemed to be really upset with some reporters who entered into her private life and found out one of her most hidden secrets. This is one of many examples where journalists have made money from the secrets, or even from gossip they themselves have created. This shows that some media function as a money- making machine at the cost of other people’s integrity.  This is one reason why not only famous people, but any one, may be treated as an object by the media.

   To sum up almost all the great celebrities are surrounded by curiosity and inquisition. This has been a fact since the dawn of time however people in general, namely reporters, have to be as careful as possible in order to avoid spoiling or even destroying those famous people’s privacy in the name of their own interests.
